If you google 5 or 6mm gold connectors you are bound to find them. I wonder if it would be better to connect them, & coat them in some sort ofgrease & shrink tube over the connection. This would waterproof them, stop stray current & still leave them able to pull apart if there is enough force to tear the shrink tubing apart.Alan
