<div dir="ltr">Douglas, Sounds like a nice setup. We will be bringing our 9 ft achilles hard bottom rib boat with an electric motor as a support vessel as well. Currently I am adding a few mounts for a bimini top and replacing the old handles. Should be good as new with a few extras.<br clear="all"><div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div>Best Regards,<br>David Colombo<br><img src="http://static.squarespace.com/static/533310a9e4b0fba62008a464/t/5339c1f2e4b041bac4e25d1b/1396294132055/?format=500w" width="200" height="110"><br>804 College Ave<br>Santa Rosa, CA. 95404<br>(707) 536-1424<br><a href="http://www.SeaQuestor.com" target="_blank">www.SeaQuestor.com</a><br><br></div></div></div></div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Oct 21, 2021 at 5:30 PM Douglas Suhr via Personal_Submersibles <<a href="mailto:personal_submersibles@psubs.org">personal_submersibles@psubs.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">Not as ordered, but a center console / helm can be added. I decided to keep it simple with tiller control for the purpose of keeping it light and portable (by taking the motor off and putting the boat on the roof of the car, etc.) Also, not having a console frees up more interior space for crew, dive gear, comms equipment or what-have-you. Weight capacity is stated at 1400 lbs so it should be a hard worker for a 12-foot boat. Will be happy to bring her along! ~ Doug </div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Oct 21, 2021 at 8:16 AM Jon Wallace via Personal_Submersibles <<a href="mailto:personal_submersibles@psubs.org" target="_blank">personal_submersibles@psubs.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div><div style="font-family:"times new roman","new york",times,serif;font-size:16px"><div></div>

It's got an aluminium hull and double floor but only weighs a couple hundred pounds. The engine capacity is stated at 30 HP / 200 lbs max so I'm thinking about powering it with a Yamaha 25 HP... only 126 lbs. With a few hands I'll be able to put the boat on the roof and the engine in the truck, then still have room to tow Snoopy on her trailer. Or keep it simple and have the boat on a trailer if sans Snoopster. </div><div><br></div><div>I think she'll be a good boat for calm water sub towing / crewing and if any of you folks think it would be helpful, I can plan to bring her to the Michigan event in the works for next summer. ~ Doug S. </div></div>
