I am with a World wide group of submarine builders (<a shape="rect" href="http://psubs.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">psubs.org</a>) who are using OTS <br clear="none">
wireless communication systems on our submersibles.<br clear="none">
One of our members is converting a STX-101 portable surface station unit for use <br clear="none">
inside the sub. This would require mounting the surface station transducer outside<br clear="none">
the pressure hull.<br clear="none">
My question is; are the surface station transducers as robust as the transducers on<br clear="none">
the diver units?<br clear="none">
Any estimates on their maximum depth?<br clear="none">
I see they can at least go down to 100ft ( length of transducer cable).<br clear="none">
