<div>Hank, it could work but it would be easier to make a box out of ply wood & oil fill it & just have 2 through hulls for the wires. </div><div>If you are having batteries in series you would be creating multiple points where the connecting wires would have to be sealed & could fail. </div><div>Are they sealed lead acid batteries? </div><div>Alan</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

I am going to make a new cap that accepts a barbed hose fitting and water tight post enclosures , so I can fill the battery with oil and submerge it without an enclosure (battery pod)</div><div dir="ltr">The hoses will be coiled and open to the sea.
