<DIV style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt;"><FONT size="2">Hank, Yeah, I've notice that "bounce" issue. Not really an issue so much , kind of interesting actually. I can control the air flow just by not opening the valve so much. Might need to submerge right away if a destroyer is heading my way ! That valve I put up front is really helpful for overall control. I'm also looking at this 12 volt high pressure air pump that I could use on the surface to conserve my hp air. Something like this : <A href="https://www.amazon.com/LIOOBO-Portable-Inflation-Compressor-Dedicated/dp/B07VD4VG8D">https://www.amazon.com/LIOOBO-Portable-Inflation-Compressor-Dedicated/dp/B07VD4VG8D</A> . This could be kept inside the cabin until needed on the surface. </FONT><DIV><FONT size="2"><BR></FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size="2">Brian</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size="2"><BR></FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size="2"><BR></FONT><BR><SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;">--- personal_submersibles@psubs.org wrote:</SPAN><BR><BR><SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;">From: hank pronk via Personal_Submersibles <personal_submersibles@psubs.org></SPAN><BR><SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;">To: Brian Cox via Personal_Submersibles <personal_submersibles@psubs.org></SPAN><BR><SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;">Subject: Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] New video, test</SPAN><BR><SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;">Date: Wed, 4 Mar 2020 17:48:29 +0000 (UTC)</SPAN><BR><BR><DIV style="font-size: 13px; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><DIV></DIV>
<DIV dir="ltr">Brian, good to hear. May I suggest you choke back the air-flow out of your 2 inch vent valve. You might have better control to submerge more evenly. Wth that huge valve, you will get bounce. I think when Alec Dives it drops several feet from inertia.</DIV><DIV dir="ltr">Hank</DIV><DIV><BR></DIV>

I still could stand to lose more weight in the nose. I also moved the bottom opening to midships which facilitated with the ballast air not bleeding out the rear like it was before. So now at least I can get back up to the surface without the nose pointing down. But it still is not submerging or ascending in a level orientation . Although it's a little hard to tell in such shallow water. However it is very stable now after the loss of a lot of weight up high. </FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><BR></FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif">Brian</FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><BR></FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><A href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj2Hy-afzZU">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj2Hy-afzZU</A> </FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><BR></FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><BR></FONT></FONT></DIV><DIV style=""><FONT size="2" style=""><FONT face="Arial, sans-serif"><BR></FONT></FONT></DIV></DIV></DIV>_______________________________________________<BR>Personal_Submersibles mailing list<BR><A href="mailto:Personal_Submersibles@psubs.org">Personal_Submersibles@psubs.org</A><BR><A href="http://www.psubs.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/personal_submersibles">http://www.psubs.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/personal_submersibles</A><BR></DIV>
