You probably already know this but mentioning it just</div><div>in case. You won't have enough pressure in your ballast system for them </div><div>to operate if they aren't direct acting. There is some other alternative </div><div>terminologies for them that I have forgotten.</div><div>I know you will be excited about this, but you can buy a cheap piece</div><div>of electronics that they use on quad copters with a gyro on it. Hook</div><div>it up to an arduino board, with relays from it controlling your solenoids.</div><div>Write a bit of code & at the flick of a switch it could automatically control</div><div>the ballast valves so you descend level. <div>Alan,</div><div>I am using 12v valves from air suspension systems. They are cheap, well free in my case and they work great. I will use them un-modified to get me through the dive season.
