They apparently had a hell of a time, because carbon nodules would build up on the contacts and gum up the works.</div><div><br></div><div>They ditched all of that sometime in the 80's when they went to brushless thrusters and now keep all of the high-power electronics in a titanium enclosure.</div><div><br></div><div>What do you plan on using for thrusters?
