Don’t put on too much tape. Don’t leave tape hanging over the thread end as it will end up in the system. We do high pressure gas for a living. White tape for air and yellow for gas. Yellow is generally thicker. I would recommend using the Teflon tape and also a viscous product such as Never-seize. I had to back everything out and re-do all my fittings just for piece of mind.
