<DIV style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt;"><DIV> </DIV><DIV> The prop is 14 x 20 , that is 14" dia and 20 pitch 20 pitch means with one rotation of the shaft the prop will move 20" forward . In other words if the prop was in a bunch of jello it would move 20" into the jello. It also has a cup of .130 . My propeller guy took all my info , projected speed, size of vessel, hp of motors , displacement. That prop was the closest we could get without having to make a custom prop, this way the prop is more reasonable in price and I can always get another one, I'll have a left and a right one. The prop was around $450.00 us !</DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV> I'll try and get some more pics, the pod is basically a 14" pipe with two end caps, there are 3/4" stainless rods that are welded on the inside that come out of the other end and then hold everything together, through a o ring arrangement, and then bolts on one end. </DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>Brian<BR><BR>--- personal_submersibles@psubs.org wrote:<BR><BR>From: Alan James via Personal_Submersibles <personal_submersibles@psubs.org><BR>To: Personal Submersibles General Discussion <personal_submersibles@psubs.org><BR>Subject: Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] motor pod<BR>Date: Fri, 3 Mar 2017 06:58:18 +0000 (UTC)<BR><BR></DIV><DIV style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><DIV><SPAN>Good progress Brian,</SPAN></DIV><DIV dir="ltr"><SPAN>there's a lot of work represented there.</SPAN></DIV><DIV dir="ltr"><SPAN>How did you come up with the propeller pitch & diameter?</SPAN></DIV><DIV dir="ltr"><SPAN>Alan</SPAN></DIV><DIV><BR><BR></DIV><DIV style="display: block;"> <DIV style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> <DIV style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> <DIV dir="ltr"> <FONT face="Arial" size="2"> <HR size="1"> <B><SPAN style="font-weight: bold;">From:</SPAN></B> Brian Cox via Personal_Submersibles <personal_submersibles@psubs.org><BR> <B><SPAN style="font-weight: bold;">To:</SPAN></B> PSubs <personal_submersibles@psubs.org> <BR> <B><SPAN style="font-weight: bold;">Sent:</SPAN></B> Friday, March 3, 2017 6:27 PM<BR> <B><SPAN style="font-weight: bold;">Subject:</SPAN></B> [PSUBS-MAILIST] motor pod<BR> </FONT> </DIV> <DIV><BR><DIV><DIV style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><DIV>Hi All,</DIV><DIV> Been working on one of two motor pods, Still need to run electrical, waiting on penetrators to get anodized.
