The differential pressure between </span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1443634441141_7177" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1443634441141_7919">the air & water will be less as the valve begins to close & a small amount of water </span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1443634441141_7177" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1443634441141_7951">could get in. I mounted mine horizontally for clearance reasons. My thinking is that I set the downstream pressure to be just above ambient pressure. So when descending the regulator should be supplying air just above water pressure. Don't see any chance for water entering the vent hole in this state. When ascending, air should be venting from the hole so don't see how water gets in during this state as well.
