I was looking at the Bridgelux Varo 29 (BXRC-50C 10K0-L-24) which has a light output of a little over 10000 lumens. <br>I bought one of these but haven’t fired it up, maybe tomorrow.<br><br>I can design the driver to interface with almost any input voltage such as 10 to 30 volts or 20 to 60 volts, etc.<br><br>They make reflectors for this LED so it would be relatively easy to come up with a number of 10000 lumen lights for your Subs.<br><br>I have some time on my hand and can design the circuitry to drive any selected LED module. Or LED.<br><br>I have the time and some funding to come up with lights for the subs.<br><br>Is anyone interested in this. We could come up with lights that would only cost the parts.<br><br>The first step would be to come up with a specification that would detail most of PSubs needs. Such as variable light output (10,000 to 20,000 lumens), over temperature protection, reverse polarity protection, LED over current protection, EMI, etc.<br><br>I would be interested in doing the design work including PWBs.<br><br>What do you guys think? I would need help on the mechanical housings.<br><br>Cooling is a major concern but while immersed there’s lots of water. Above water Over temperature protection would prevent any damage if you left the lights on by accident.<br><br>Any interest? This could be fun.
