I have an approximate 24" diameter conning tower by about 20" tall by 1/4" thick, I want to put 8 viewports all the way around (6" disks with appropriate flanges) ,I'm planning on welding to the reinforcing ring on the bottom and an end cap on the top, but even with those on there isn't the heat of welding all those flanges going to warp the crap out of the whole area ?
