<div>Does your software do cylinders with ribs as well as spheres? I know calculations become more complex when doing cylinders with ribs. If it does do you have a way to do a 48" cylinder with hemispherical heads? </div>
<div>I know on my K-350 the elliptical heads are 3/8" and the cylinder is 1/4" with ribs. A cylinder is easier for internal placement, but may not work well when going to 1000m. Most of the deep submersibles are spheres for a reason.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have sent out requesting a few quotes for HY-80 6' hemispherical heads to see if this project is financially reachable. </div>
<div>Thanks,</div>

Nevertheless, some of the modules work, so I ran your numbers through the spherical shell calculator. The results shown below are in compliance with the most recent ABS rules, with no additional safety factor added. I used your 6' dimension as the inner diameter, and incremented shell thickness 0.0001 m at a time until the desired working depth was reached. Executive summary: 0.0378 m (1.4882 in) for A516 gr 70, and 0.0208 m (0.8189 in) for HY-80.
