 That was my concern with using oil as well. Whether motors, lights, or anything else it seems that oil compensation just opens up the potential for regular (maybe continual) maintenance. Anything that gets us away from oil/air compensation is a huge win in my opinion.

I love that you're doing research like this. Years ago I used some very similar lights to those, but oil filled. They worked all right, but eventually started leaking oil. Epoxy sounds very attractive by comparison.
