James,if you want to hold fire on that motor, I am making enquiry about another brushless motor. The company puts out the Haswing brand.Emile used a 2hp Haswing brushless motor with gearing but thought it was a bit noisy due to the gears.I'm looking for one 36V - 48V about 2-3hp direct drive.Quite often they will wind the motor to your specs to give you a higher voltage than their standard 24V.Alan
