I am not a battery expert but what I found best for me is to plug in the charger every week or so during the times between dives.

I've been working on my sub for a couple of months since my last test and have not charged the batteries up for that time period. I noticed when I turned the charger back on that it went into the "topping off " mode or "finishing" where is was 90% charged. do you think it's a good idea to just leave the charger on all the time in maintenance mode?

This charger is good for psubs in that it understands our boats stay in the shop a lot and only need trickle charge for long periods of time to keep from killing batteries.
