A while back after seeing Brian's results from his home made scrubber, I was inspired to restore Gamma's original scrubber.  I replaced the hurricane force fan with a 24v computer style fan and then mounted it in a simple stand with a radial filter to catch any dust.  The scrubber consists of a copper open top pan\pot container that fits into another copper pot  creating a void under the screen.  The fan is under  all that, and there is no top over the absorbent, no springs, no nothing.  It worked fantastic, and when I finished the dive I simply lifted the absorbent pot off the base and put it in a plastic bag and then placed it back on the base.Hank_______________________________________________Personal_Submersibles mailing listPersonal_Submersibles at psubs.orghttp://www.psubs.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/personal_submersibles_______________________________________________
