Hi Hank,
here are the G.L. rules regarding O2 storage inside the hull.
   " For storage of the oxygen bottles within the pressure hull the volume of 
the bottle is to be restricted in such a way that the pressure does not exceed
by one atmosphere & the O2 content does not  exceed 25% by volume if the
complete contents escape."
   I have seen a burst disk on a tank go & the tank wasn't at any elevated
heat.
