Interesting stuff.I zoomed in on the picture of the hand & it has a spring returnon the finger joints to open them up, it also has wires runningthrough the finger joints, so probably small motors or electro magnetsto close the fingers. If they are motors I would like to know how they compensate them. The hand parts look like they are 3D printed.It wouldn't have a lot of grip, but maybe you could attach a rope or grapple to larger objects with it.Alan

Like most here I'm partial to subs in the choice between a sub and a ROV, but I must admit I think this ROV is pretty cool because of the control methods being used. Take a look at the video that's embedded in the article.
